We like to stay active in all aspects of dog sports. Here are the current dogs in our kennel and the activities for which they are training and competing.
Scooter (group placing BISS American & Bermuda CH Spectrum X-ray Vision CD RE NJP CGC)
Scooter came out of retirement to compete at the December 2011 Pilgrim Basset Hound Club Specialty Show. He won best in Senior Sweepstakes and is now permanently retired.
Noodles (multiple BIS BISS CH Topsfield Vision SilverNoodles BN RA CGC)
Noodles is actively training in agility and obedience. She has now
earned the Beginner Novice title in obedience
earned the Rally Advanced title in rally
earned two legs in Jumpers with Weaves Preferred and one leg in Standard Preferred in agility
Noodles will work to complete her BN, RA, NAP, NJP and NFP titles over the next months while beginning to train for the Companion Dog title.
Hoppy is currently resting from training but keeps us all entertained with her crazy antics around the kennel!
We plan to breed Hoppy in 2012. Watch this web site for puppy news.
Scotti (CH Topsfield-Sanchu Biscotti)
Scotti ompleted her American Championship by sweeping Winners Bitch from the Open Bitch class at all four shows of the Breeders Circuit in November 2011.
She was bred in December 2011; we will have litter news in mid January after a confirmation ultrasound is performed.
While waiting to hear about puppies, Scotti is taking an agility handling skills course.
Libby(Vision Spectrum Topsfield Love A Mystery)
Libby has started her obedience training and is shown strong aptitude for learning. She has great attention and is learning her basic obedience commands with ease. She is attending Advanced Attention and Introduction to Agility courses.
She was Winners Bitch/Best of Opposite Sex at both weekend shows of the December 2011 Bay Colony Cluster including the Pilgrim Basset Hound Club specialty show. She now has both majors and six total championship points.
